I just hit 1000 orders on my shop's website and the number threw me

I was doing my end of month books yesterday and saw the order count on my site. I started this little online flower shop from my garage three years ago, mostly doing local deliveries. The website was just a side thing, but this month it quietly passed 1000 total orders. It's not a huge deal for some, but for me it felt big because I never really pushed it. It just grew from people sharing pictures of their bouquets. It made me think about how much of the job is now packing stuff to ship instead of just driving it across town. I'm curious, for those of you who sell online, what was your first big order number that made you stop and think? How did it change how you run things day to day?
