My first successful orchid arrangement got a client's praise.

Hearing their happy feedback was the best part.

Did an orchid really make someone cry? @ruby322, that's wild.

Guess orchids are the new therapy animals. Next thing you know, people will be sobbing into their ferns. But hey, if a flower can fix a bad day, maybe we should all get one. What's the most dramatic plant reaction you've seen?

When you mentioned "hearing their happy feedback was the best part," I remembered reading a florist's story online. She said one client got so emotional over an orchid piece that it made her own long hours feel small. Isn't it funny how a simple plant can bring out that kind of joy? That must be why positive comments stick with you long after the job is done. It turns a good arrangement into a memory for both of you. I guess that's the real win in creative work.

My cousin does custom tattoos and had a client get teary over a memorial piece. Said it was like giving them a piece of their loved one back. Makes you remember why people do this stuff.
