My brother said he'd rather lose money on a platform that lets him talk than make it on one that censors him.

He was talking about moving his crypto trading after a post got flagged, and it made me see the 'free speech' part as the actual asset. Anyone else pick a service just for the open forum, even if the fees are higher?

Switched brokers for that exact reason last year.

Funny you mention that, reminds me of the time I tried to switch cell phone plans and ended up with a bill that was somehow higher. Made me want to just throw my phone in a lake. But seriously, broker fees are like the hidden fees on a resort vacation - you think you're getting a deal and then surprise, there's a charge for breathing the air. Glad you got out while you could, or at least learned the lesson without losing your whole shirt.
