Shoutout to the guy at the Denver crypto meetup who argued with me about payment processors

He said 'your right to move money is your right to speak' after my account got flagged for a $150 donation, and I finally get it now, so what's the best decentralized payment tool that actually works for small stuff?

That Denver guy would probably call my wallet a "speech impediment" after my last Lightning attempt. Wyatt135 is right though, it's the one thing that actually works when you need to send a few bucks.

Honestly that guy sounds like the crypto meetup version of a superhero. Tbh I've had good luck with Lightning for small stuff, it's fast and the fees are basically nothing. Ngl it's the only thing that feels like it actually works right now.

Right? It's the one part of crypto that doesn't feel like you're beta testing someone's unfinished project. Lightning actually solves the problem it was meant to, letting you buy a coffee without paying a ten dollar fee or waiting an hour. It's a shame the rest of the space is so focused on hype and nonsense when we have a working example of useful digital cash right here. Makes you wonder what could have been built if more people focused on making things work instead of making up new words for old scams.

Honestly though, is buying coffee with crypto that big of a deal? I can already do that with my normal bank card. Lightning works okay, but it's still a hassle to set up for something so small. Feels like solving a problem most people don't really have.
