Visited a crypto meetup in Miami and the talk about payment blocks was wild
I was at a Bitcoin event in Miami last month and the main talk was about how payment processors are stopping donations to some groups. The speaker said one group lost over $50k in a month because their account got shut down. It really shows why we need payment systems nobody can control. Has anyone else seen this happen with smaller projects?

Set up a multi-sig wallet for donations.

Yeah, that's a payment processor blocking them, not the actual payment blocks on the chain... the chain itself is fine. The problem is the company in the middle shutting off access.

Double down on what pat_rivera said @cooper.drew - the real issue isn't the tech but the people running the gates. If we all started using decentralized options that cut out the middleman, these payment processors would lose their leverage overnight. That's the kind of shift that actually matters.

Feel the same frustration with these middlemen. They hold too much power over simple transactions. It really kills the whole point of a free system.
