Why does nobody talk about using a VPN for those international crypto exchanges?

I kept getting blocked trying to access a platform from Tokyo, but connecting through a server in Singapore fixed it instantly. Has anyone else found a specific country's connection works better for certain sites?

So you're saying a Singapore server worked. Did you try any other locations in Asia, or was that the first one that got you past the geo-block? I'm curious if it's about the specific exchange's rules for that region.

Honestly, it's probably just random luck with the server. These geo-blocks seem to flip on and off all the time (makes you wonder how much they actually care).

Tried Hong Kong first, but it was a total bust.

Wait, did you try routing through a specific city in Singapore or just any server there? I've messed around with a bunch of Asian servers for similar issues, and what really made the difference for me was using a server that's in the same country as the exchange's main office. Like, for that Tokyo platform, I had to use a Japan server but one in Osaka instead of Tokyo, weirdly. Also, sometimes clearing your browser cache before switching VPNs helps, I think the sites remember your location from cookies or something.
