Shoutout to the client who offered me a full-time job last month
I had to choose between taking a steady salary at a marketing agency in Chicago or staying solo. I picked staying solo, even though the offer was for $85,000 a year with benefits. It felt too much like going back to a cage after building my own thing for three years. How do you guys handle those big, tempting offers that pull you away from freelancing?

My cousin in Austin took a job like that, a 90k manager spot. He lasted eight months before the meetings and approval chains drove him nuts. He said it felt like asking for permission to breathe. Cooper.drew might call it just a job, but that structure can really get to some people. My cousin's back to consulting now, way less money but he looks ten years younger.
