Unpopular opinion: Charging $150 an hour for my web design work got me better clients than my old $50 rate ever did.
The higher rate filtered out the people who wanted endless revisions and let me focus on two solid projects last month that actually paid my rent.

Totally makes sense. It's a real filter. People who see that price tag often respect your time more from the start. They come in with a clear plan, not just a vague idea. My buddy in graphic design did the same thing and stopped getting those "my nephew can do this" type emails. It just changes the whole conversation.
