Looking back at the $500 I dropped on a professional spray booth setup
Honestly, it felt like a crazy amount at the time, especially when I was used to just tacking up plastic in the garage. That was about eight years ago. It cut my finishing time in half on bigger pieces and the finish quality was just so much cleaner. Anyone else make a big tool jump that seemed scary but totally paid off?
Eight years ago and it was only five hundred bucks? That price alone is a time capsule. I remember when decent spray gear started at a grand easy. You basically stole that setup.
My buddy found a full HVLP system at a yard sale for three hundred. The old guy selling it had no idea what it was worth. Some deals just fall into your lap.
