Rant: Laser levels seemed like overkill until last month's storm

I figured laser levels were just for show (never got the hype). After a storm ruined my hand-graded work, I'm a convert. What's your go-to method for setting up in bad weather?

Ever tried to level a laser in a downpour?

Tbh, do you check calibration after a storm?

Checking calibration post-storm never crossed my mind. I just assume the tool holds up, but now I'm wondering if all that shaking messes with it. Might have to start doing that from now on.

Man, I get the laser level love now. But here's my thing: what do you do when the weather is actively trying to ruin your day? Like, if it's pouring rain, does the laser even show up? And wind must be a nightmare for keeping it level. Do you just pack up and wait, or have you found a way to make it work? I'm curious about the real world use, not just the sunny day demo.
