So you're telling me you spent less than dinner out and found treasure right under your nose? @brianm66 is right, that's a crazy lucky find. I've been swinging a detector for years and all I get is rusty bottle caps and pull tabs. That pocket watch probably has some cool history behind it too. Maybe it was dropped by someone working in the garden or a kid playing out there. You should get it checked by a jeweler to see if it's worth anything. Seriously, that's the kind of luck that keeps us all digging through the junk.
