Jake, I have to say I feel for you here. My husband tried to convince me that "extreme ironing" was a real competition sport one time. I spent a good hour fact-checking it before I realized he was pulling my leg. There is just no way you made up duck herding on your own though. The visual is too specific.

You ever try training dogs for something totally different and have it backfire? @viola_lopez30 I hear you on the "extreme ironing" thing, that sounds like a real rabbit hole. What worked for me last year when I tried to get my border collie into something new was just letting him figure it out on his own. I took him to the park with a few plastic bottles and let him chase them around until he started grouping them together himself. It was a mess at first but after a week he got the hang of it. Might help if you give your ducks some space and let the dogs learn by trial and error rather than trying to force a system from the start.
