The day my bank accidentally gave me $50 (and then took it back 3 hours later)
It was last Tuesday and I checked my account in the morning and saw an extra $50 deposit labeled "courtesy credit." I figured maybe I won a contest I didn't enter or something, so I just left it alone. By 2pm that same day, it was gone with a note saying "error correction" attached to the transaction. I called the bank to ask what happened and the guy said it was a glitch from their system upgrade last weekend. Honestly, I should have just pulled it out as cash the second I saw it. Has anyone else had a surprise deposit vanish just as fast?

Yeah did you spend it on something super specific? I did the same thing with a surprise $50 from my grandma last month, mentally bought a new pair of boots and a fancy coffee maker before she texted saying she accidentally sent it twice and needed one back. Felt like I was returning a gift I never even held. Now I keep thinking about that stupid coffee maker every time I make my morning brew.
