Had a week where my estrogen patch seemed to stop working for no reason
Last month I had 5 days where my mood crashed hard and my hot flashes came back even though I hadn't changed my dose or routine. Has anyone else had a random bad week on HRT that just went away on its own?

Oh is this a thing that happens to a lot of people? I used to think if the patch was working it just worked until you changed something, but then I had a solid week last fall where I was crying over nothing and sweating through my sheets out of nowhere. It just stopped and I never figured out why, so now I totally believe you can get random bad weeks. My doctor shrugged and said bodies are weird, the end.

Three days straight I had this thing happen where I woke up at 3am every night with my heart pounding like I just ran a marathon, and I hadn't even moved. It was so weird because my patch had been fine for like four months before that, and then bam, just mood swings and night sweats for a whole week. I even called my pharmacist to ask if the batch was bad or something, and she said sometimes your body just decides to be a jerk for no reason. @kai_webb91 I used to think like you did, that it was all coincidence, but now I'm pretty sure these things just happen and nobody knows why. My sister went through the same thing with her birth control pills two years ago, she said it felt like her hormones were throwing a tantrum for no reason. Bodies really are weird, the end is right, I swear sometimes they just want to keep us guessing.
