That 4am thing where you realize you've been folding sheets wrong for 20 years
I was up at 3am last night folding laundry and it hit me that I've been doing the burrito method on my fitted sheets all wrong because of some TikTok I saw back in 2021. My mom showed me her way last weekend at her house in Portland and the corners actually stayed flat without ripping the elastic. Has anyone else had that moment where you find out a basic life skill you thought you mastered is actually the opposite of what works?

Wait, is a TikTok sheet folding tutorial really the ultimate boss of useless life hacks or do I just have bad luck with fabric physics? I mean, I tried that burrito thing once and ended up with a lumpy rectangle that looked like it lost a fight with a washing machine. Maybe it's just me but I think some of these "hacks" just make us feel even dumber about stuff we thought we had figured out.

Wait, there's a TikTok method for folding sheets that works even worse than the regular wrong way?

@owens.anthony that "method" is just a TikTok, not actual sheet folding, mine end up looking like a crumpled napkin every time.
