My old boss at The Rusty Nail told me I was pouring with anger issues behind the bar
She said my pint glasses had more attitude than the beer. Took me a few weeks but I started slowing down my pours and actually chatting with regulars instead of slamming drinks down. Has anyone else had a coworker just drop a truth bomb that changed how they do their thing?
Slowing down the pours is a solid move... people can feel that energy behind the bar. Little things like that actually change the whole vibe of the shift.
