Pro tip: Found out the hard way that glass bottles break in the freezer after 2 hours

Tried to speed-chill a bottle of dark amber syrup from a farm stand in Vermont but it shattered all over my frozen peas, so now I use plastic squeeze bottles for bulk syrup storage even though they feel cheap.

Same thing happened with my maple syrup from a local guy. Glass and frozen food don't mix. Plastic squeeze bottles are the way to go now for sure.
