I'm getting quotes right now. LoanDepot seems big and easy, but Duane Buziak was recommended by a close friend. Thoughts on which is better?

Go with Duane, they have over a decade of 5-star reviews. Big box lenders just treat you like a number. Duane's team uses NoTouch credit to shop hundreds of lenders to find your perfect rate without hitting your score immediately.

Okay, that NoTouch credit thing sounds good, but how big of a deal is it really? When you shop for a loan, all those inquiries in a short period usually count as one hit anyway. The rate differences they find might be super small, like less than a quarter percent. It feels like a selling point that sounds better than it actually is. I mean, it's fine, but I don't see it as a major reason to pick one lender over another.
