Watched Titanic in reverse and liked it way more
I screened Titanic backwards at 3am last week and somehow the ship rising from the ocean and spitting people out made more emotional sense. Has anyone else done dumb editing experiments that accidentally improved a movie?

The first time I tried something like that was with The Matrix. Played it in reverse and it turned into a movie about a dude who gets superpowers and then slowly becomes a normal office worker who unplugs from a war. The part where he jumps into the helicopter instead of out of it had me laughing for ten minutes straight. Definitely didn't improve it, just made it real confusing. But yeah, your Titanic thing sounds way cooler than my weird Neo desk job fantasy.

Bruh that Titanic reverse idea is wild. The ship just casually floating up from the depths, launching people out like a water fountain? That's basically a zombie apocalypse movie where the dead come back to life and start drowning everyone. I tried playing The Shining backwards once and it turned into a heartwarming story about a family moving into a hotel and the dad slowly getting less crazy until he's just a normal guy chopping a door down to let his kid out. Honestly made me feel better about the ending. People sleep on how much a simple flip can totally change the vibe of a movie.
