Pro tip: Stop using leaf blowers on rainy mornings

I drive through the neighborhoods off North Peachtree for my deliveries, and every single wet morning there's someone blowing wet leaves around. It does nothing except scatter soggy clumps onto the street and into storm drains. Last week I saw a guy spend 20 minutes trying to clear a pile that just stuck right back down. If you wait until the leaves are dry, one pass gets them into a pile that actually stays put. Has anyone else noticed how useless this is, or am I the only one annoyed by the noise for no reason?

Bruh I tried raking wet leaves once last October and my back was killing me after 10 minutes. The pile just stuck together like a wet blanket and I ended up giving up halfway through. My neighbor came out and laughed at me with his leaf blower while I was struggling with a soggy pile in the driveway. Wet leaves are basically nature's prank on anyone who tries to clean them up, am I right?

Did you try letting them dry out a bit first? I usually wait until the dew burns off or skip mornings entirely, makes a huge difference. Also I switched to a lightweight plastic rake with those flexible tines and it cuts through wet clumps way better than a metal one.
