That one time a neighbor knocked on my door to complain about my dryer vent

Honestly, I was just trying to do my laundry on a Tuesday afternoon, and this lady from three houses down shows up at my door. She said the lint from my vent was getting on her new car that she parks in her driveway, which I thought was a stretch because my vent faces the other way. Ngl, I was kinda annoyed, but she was super polite about it, not yelling or anything. She even brought me a photo of the lint spots on her hood, which was weirdly detailed. I ended up buying a new vent cover from Lowe's that directs the air downward, cost me like $15. Has anyone else had a neighbor call you out for something that felt a little over the top?

Had a woman once tell me my mailbox was blocking her view of the stop sign.

Guy I know had a neighbor argue his tree branch was "blocking her satellite signal" for the TV. He checked it out and the branch was like 15 feet above her dish, not even close. People just like to blame stuff on other people without checking first.

That thing about the mailbox blocking the stop sign is WILD. Like, your mailbox is four feet tall, it's not exactly a bus. But honestly, people will look for ANY excuse to complain when they're bored. I once had a guy knock on my door because he said the reflection off my new solar garden lights was "blinding him" while he watched TV. I went out to check at night and the lights were pointed straight down at the ground, not even close to his house. He was standing there with his arms crossed like he'd caught me committing a crime. I just told him I'd angle them slightly and then I went inside and didn't change a thing. Some folks just need a reason to feel important.
