Took me 45 minutes to open a jar of pickles from H-Mart yesterday

I stood there twisting, banging the lid on the counter, even ran it under hot water. Finally had to walk next door and ask my neighbor Jerry to pop it open for me, took him about 5 seconds. Anybody else gotta swallow their pride and ask for help with dumb stuff like that?

Man I swear some jar lids have a personal vendetta against you. Maybe try tapping the lid sideways on the counter instead of straight down, that's always worked for me.

Bet your neighbor just uses that rubber grip mat trick, never thought to grab one until I gave in and bought a jar opener online.
