Am I the only one who thought skim milk was the healthier choice?
I always bought skim milk because I believed it had less fat and was better for weight loss. After looking into nutrition facts, I found whole milk keeps me full longer and has vitamins A and D. Now I switched and my snacks have reduced. It's annoying how marketing tricks us.
My grandma drank whole milk every day and lived to be 94, so they can pry my gallon out of my cold, dead hands. She also smoked like a chimney, but we just ignore that part of the story. Honestly, the whole low-fat push in the 90s feels like one of those things we'll look back on and cringe, like margarine or those weird jelly shoes. I'm just here for the richer coffee.
