Debate: Should a bad day at work be vented or laughed off? My worst Monday vs. best Friday last year.
Last March I had a Monday where a poodle bolted mid-groom, ran into a main road near my shop on Oak Street, and I had to chase it for six blocks before a kid on a bike grabbed its leash. Then last October I had a Friday where every single dog was perfectly behaved, three regulars tipped extra, and I finished at 4 PM instead of 7. Which approach do you think actually helps more - complaining about the bad stuff or just pushing through and waiting for the good days?
I used to be all about just sucking it up and moving on, but that poodle thing honestly changed my mind. Sometimes you gotta let it out or it just sits there and gets worse. Getting it off your chest can make the good days feel even better.
