Folded fitted sheets wrong for 32 years, a hotel maid in Nashville set me straight
I was staying at a Holiday Inn in Nashville last month and folding my fitted sheet the usual way, you know, just balling it up. The housekeeper walked in while I was packing and straight up said 'youre doing that all wrong'. She showed me this trick where you tuck the corners into each other and it takes maybe 30 seconds. I tried it and the sheet actually came out looking like a rectangle. Now I can stack it with my flat sheets and it doesnt look like a crumpled mess. Has anyone else been folding them wrong this whole time?
Learned that corner tuck trick a few years back from a lady on YouTube. Changed my whole laundry game and I still feel dumb for all those wrinkled years. Now my linen closet actually looks presentable.
I spent 37 years as a professional fitted sheet baller till a hotel maid in Cleveland gave me the same look. She showed me the corner tuck trick and I felt like an idiot who just discovered pockets on pants. Now I fold my sheets like a real adult and my dryer lint has never been lonelier.
