Rant: Everyone says cold pizza for breakfast is the best, but I think it's trash

Honestly, I tried it again this morning because my roommate swears by it. I took a slice of pepperoni from last night's takeout, straight out of the fridge. The cheese was rubbery and the crust was like a cracker. How is that better than just heating it up for 30 seconds in the microwave? Has anyone else never gotten the hype on cold pizza?

I've tried the cold pizza thing a few times and it always feels like I'm eating leftovers that someone forgot to put in the microwave. I guess I'm just not fancy enough to appreciate it - probably the same reason I still eat cereal for dinner sometimes.
