Update: Never thought scribbling lines would help my head
I always brushed off poetry as too artsy for someone like me. Then I got really stressed and a pal said to try writing whatever came to mind. So I started with dumb little verses about stuff like my noisy fridge or feeling tired. Putting those feelings into simple words made them feel smaller, not so scary. Now I keep a notebook by my bed and write a few lines when I'm wound up. It doesn't fix everything, but it definitely stops my brain from spinning at night. Funny how something I ignored became my go-to for quieting down.

Try voice notes when typing feels like too much.

But then you still have to type it all out later.

Keep that notebook handy for when your thoughts race. I found scribbling down even nonsense words can slow my mind right down.
