Smart lock vs regular lock after my package got stolen

I switched back to a regular deadbolt after my smart lock kept unlocking itself when I rebooted the router. That convenience wasn't worth someone walking into my house at 2 AM. Has anyone else had their smart gadgets do something creepy like that?

Hey did your friend ever figure out what caused it... my buddy had a similar thing with his smart thermostat. It started cranking the heat to 85 degrees in the middle of summer, woke up sweating like crazy. He unplugged it and went back to a regular old dial thermostat, says he sleeps better now. Makes you wonder how much of that stuff is just collecting data on you anyways. I'll keep my dumb locks and dumb thermostat, thanks.

Blame the smart fridge for calling an Uber to the grocery store while you're asleep. @gibson.morgan, at this rate our dumb appliances are gonna unionize against us.
