Swapped to track pads and cooked my rotors in one session

Put EBC Yellows on my Miata for a day at Streets of Willow and by lap 4 the rotors were warped. Guess those pads bite too hard for cheap blanks - anyone run a specific rotor combo that survives heat?

Yeah man, Centric blanks with HP+ is a solid combo. Stops the warp for sure.

Stops the warp for sure" - wish I could say the same about my life choices lol. I ran Centric blanks with HP+ on my old E36 and yeah, they held up fine. But I've also warped rotors on a set of cheap Napa blanks just driving to get coffee, so maybe I'm just cursed. My Miata days were mostly spent fighting with brake fade and wondering why I didn't just buy a bicycle instead...
