Waited 6 hours at the DMV for a simple name change
I showed up at the Denver DMV at 7am thinking I'd beat the rush, but the line was already out the door. Turns out their computer system went down for 3 hours and they couldn't process anything, so I just sat there staring at the wall. Has anyone else had a routine errand turn into an all day nightmare for no good reason?

lol 6 hours is rough but also kind of a rite of passage at this point. I feel like people love to dramatize the DMV like it's a torture chamber when really it's just a slow government office with bad tech support. You still got your name change done, right? Sounds like a boring morning but not exactly a "nightmare" imo. If you went on a Tuesday and brought a snack, you probably would've been fine.
