Honestly, that sounds about right for those "free energy" videos. Ngl, I've seen a bunch of them and they're mostly just people selling parts or showing off a circuit that doesn't actually work for real. Tbh, if it really produced free energy, it would be all over the news and not just some random YouTube channel. Respectfully, you probably got scammed by someone who knows just enough about electronics to make it look convincing. Maybe treat it as a lesson learned and stick to established hobby projects for now.

Man, that is rough. Tbh I feel for you, getting excited about something and then finding out it was all smoke and mirrors really sucks. Honestly, those "free energy" guys prey on people who just want to learn something cool, and that's not fair. Ngl, I've been burned by buying a kit that turned out to be garbage before, so I know how that disappointment feels. Just remember, there's tons of real, working electronics projects out there that are way more satisfying to build.

I get what you're saying @evan_cooper73, it really is a bummer when you put time and hope into something that doesn't pan out. Those free energy scams are everywhere online and they always make it look so simple, but it's just a trick to get your money or views. I've been there too, buying a kit that looked promising online and then it didn't even light up an LED properly. The worst part is how they make you feel dumb for trusting it, but it's not your fault for being curious. At least now you know to look for projects that have real schematics and clear explanations, that's the only way to go.
