Called my neighbor's 'compost tea' a load of garbage for a year, then he brought me a bucket of tomatoes from his garden
I live over by the old rail yard on Elm Street, and this guy Joe has been brewing weird buckets of rotting leaves and eggshells since March. I figured it was just some hipster nonsense (I mean, who has time for that?). Then last week he dropped off a dozen Cherokee Purple tomatoes that tasted better than anything I've had from the farmer's market. Has anyone else had their skepticism backfire like that where the proof was literally in the produce?

Well I mean, it's just tomatoes at the end of the day, right? Like sure they were good but I'm not about to start brewing up buckets of slop in my backyard just because one guy grew some fancy fruit. People act like compost tea is some kind of magic potion but at the end of the day it's still just dirt water.
