Had the worst week of tips ever at the bar... then a random Tuesday flipped it all around

Last Monday through Thursday at work was brutal. I made like $40 total across three shifts and was ready to quit. Then Friday this couple comes in, they're celebrating their anniversary, and they just kept ordering rounds for the whole place. By midnight I had a stack of $20s from their table alone. Has anyone else had a random shift that totally saved your week out of nowhere?

Yeah I remember when I was scraping by and someone complained about their second car breaking down. Just had to laugh and move on. Money changes everything I guess.
