Hit 10k followers and half of them turned out to be bots from a single fake account farm I paid to ignore
Uncovered this after running a $15 audit tool that flagged 5,000 accounts with the same join date and generic bio. Has anyone else wasted money on growth services that quietly fed them fake data?

yeah I had the same thing happen with a bot farm that promised real engagement.

Yeah @the_drew, same boat here. I paid for "high quality followers" and ended up with a bunch of accounts that hadn't posted a single thing. What finally worked for me was just focusing on real engagement - replying to comments, joining relevant threads, and posting stuff that actually helps people. It's way slower but the followers I get now actually click links and buy stuff. Those $15 audits are a lifesaver though, saved me from wasting more money on fake data.

Wait, you're saying bought followers are actually useless? I always thought they helped the algorithm but damn, this changes everything.

Honestly bought followers just make you look desperate to anyone who actually checks. Ngl the algorithm doesn't care about dead accounts, it wants people who actually engage with your stuff.
