Best three days I ever had spotting murals in Detroit last spring

I spent a whole week driving around the east side and found three new murals by the same artist, all hidden behind old warehouses. Has anyone else seen that series with the faded blue birds on Michigan Ave?

Three of them, same spot on the fence all summer long. @adams.uma I know exactly what you mean about that faded look, it gets to you after a while. Makes you wonder how many sunrises they sat through, just watching the world go by. Honestly hits different when you see something that worn out but still holding on.

Yeah those birds are probably just faking it, honestly. They know exactly what they're doing, sitting there all faded and rusty looking, just trying to tug at our heartstrings for no reason. Probably got a whole retirement plan worked out, collecting sympathy points from everyone who walks by. Bet they're laughing about it when nobody's looking, counting their bird seed and plotting their next move. Three of them just chilling, playing the long game on that fence like it's some kind of performance art piece.
