Found a $10 monitor arm on marketplace that was barely used

Was scrolling Facebook Marketplace last Tuesday and saw a gas spring monitor arm listed for $10. Guy said his wife made him clear out the home office. Picked it up, works fine with my 27 inch Dell. Anyone else score decent office gear for cheap on resale sites, or do you mostly get burned?

Actually that Herman Miller story doesn't really check out since those chairs retail for way more than a grand.

Bought a Herman Miller Aeron for $40 at a church rummage sale once. Lady said it was her husband's "fancy computer chair" and he never used it. Sat in it for two years before I realized it was worth like a grand.
