Rant: That $12 HDMI cable from the gas station was a complete scam
Picked up a cheap HDMI cable at a Shell station in Pittsburgh last month for 12 bucks because I forgot mine on a job site. Plugged it into my Fire Stick and the picture kept cutting out every few minutes, real annoying. Ended up driving 20 minutes to Best Buy for a 15 dollar one that works fine. Has anyone else had luck with those gas station electronics or are they all garbage?

A cheap audio cable I bought at a 7-Eleven in Philly convinced me those gas station electronics are always a gamble.

Man I don't know if it's really that serious. @aaron_mitchell is acting like the thing was gonna explode or something, a glitchy picture is annoying but not the end of the world. Worst case you're out twelve bucks and you learn to pack your own cables next time.

Always a gamble" is putting it lightly, Charles. I can't believe you risked an audio cable from a 7-Eleven, those things are probably wired with hopes and dreams. At least my HDMI cable worked for a few minutes before it started glitching out, yours probably died before you even got home.
