Wasted $60 on a 'premium' screen protector kit from a mall kiosk
I fell for the guy at the mall who promised it would never crack, and it got a hairline scratch from my keys inside my bag the next day. Anyone else get tricked by those kiosk sales pitches?

Oh come on, maybe you just jammed it in your bag too carelessly.

Maybe you just jammed it in your bag too carelessly" - oh, yeah, because everyone carefully places their delicate electronics into a bag made of concrete and gravel. I'm sure it's totally normal for a phone to just spontaneously combust from being in a regular backpack with some pens and a snack bar.
Next you'll tell me I probably broke my screen by looking at it wrong. Yeah, that's definitely the issue, not the fact that the thing was glued together with hopes and dreams. I'd love to see you handle your phone like it's a Faberge egg while mine manages to survive a two-foot drop onto a fluffy pillow.
Maybe it's just me but I'm pretty sure a device that costs as much as a small car should be able to handle a commute without needing a repair appointment.

Actually had the same issue with my last phone and swapping out the case for something with a bit more padding around the edges helped a ton. Not defending the company but sometimes a cheap case makes all the difference for those normal bumps.
