My smart thermostat lost its mind at 2 AM last Tuesday
I woke up freezing because my Nest thermostat (which I've had for maybe 3 years) decided to crank the AC down to 55 degrees for no reason at 2 in the morning last Tuesday. It was 40 degrees outside in Portland, so I literally had frost on my windows. I checked the app and there was no schedule set for that, just a random glitch. Has your smart home gear ever pulled a weird move like that?

Hold on, mine's never glitched once and I actually love the learning thing.

And then there's the whole "learning" thing. My old thermostat kept "learning" that I liked it freezing at 3 AM, had to factory reset the damn thing.
