The Wi-Fi lightbulb that takes 90 seconds to turn on is driving me up a wall

So I bought this smart bulb for my porch last month thinking it'd be convenient. Nope. Every single time I yell at Alexa to turn it on, I stand there for a full minute and a half waiting while my porch stays dark. By the time it finally lights up, I've already walked into my door twice. My $2 regular bulb from the grocery store turned on instantly for years. What kind of backwards upgrade is this? Anyone else stuck with gadgets that are slower than the old dumb versions?

@shanef34 is just living the smart home dream of learning door placement through muscle memory (and bruises).

Man I feel this so hard. My smart lock is smarter than me apparently, I still try to push the door open when it's locked about once a week. My shoulder has definitely learned the hard way that the door opens inward, not outward. Took me three months to stop reaching for the handle on the hinge side like a complete goof. At this rate I'm gonna need a knee replacement before the batteries even die.

Honestly, who enjoys the surprise of running into their own door every night?
