I tried that DIY airport chemtrail detector and got a very different result

I built one of those $50 aluminum foil and magnet setups to detect chemtrails in my backyard last Tuesday, and instead of picking up anything in the sky, it started pulling in every squirrel in a 100 foot radius. There were like 12 of them just sitting there staring at my little contraption like it owed them money. Did I accidentally invent a rodent summoner instead of a government secret snooper?

Wait, so your contraption turned your lawn into a squirrel convention instead of exposing government plots? Sounds like you built a furry mosh pit, not a chemtrail detector. I bet those squirrels were just waiting for you to wave a bag of peanuts at them. Next time try adding some tinfoil hats for the squirrels, maybe they'll start reporting back to you about the real threats.

You ever feel like you're the one who needs the tinfoil hat after spending a week filming squirrels? Pretty sure I'm one bag of peanuts away from being their full-time DJ.

Haha yeah the squirrel thing got me too. I tried a similar setup with a motion sensor camera and a bird feeder last year. Thought I was gonna catch some weird stuff at night but instead I just got a thousand videos of raccoons using the feeder like a buffet. What actually worked for me was setting up the camera lower to the ground and using a red light at night. It cut down on the critter nonsense by like 80% and I started getting actual strange movement patterns in the sky that looked different from normal planes. Might help to adjust the height and add an IR filter if you haven't already.
