Is it just me or does it feel like every little thing in life takes way longer than you'd expect? @claire_young76 it's like when you finally fix one thing, you realize there's another layer to deal with underneath. Sometimes I feel like that's just how life works, one slow step at a time.

Has anyone noticed how the "slow step at a time" thing actually works better when you don't overthink the next step? Like, I've got a buddy who spends more time planning his garage cleanup than actually doing it, and then complains it took all weekend. Meanwhile, I just grab a box and start tossing stuff, and somehow the job gets done faster even though I'm not being "efficient." Maybe the real trick is skipping the step where you figure out the layers, at least for a little while.
