Finally patched a tire without swearing once after 4 years of trying
Last Sunday by the creek trail I got a goathead thorn in my rear tire and had it fixed in 12 minutes flat with just a patch kit and a tire lever. Has anyone else had that moment where everything just clicks after struggling forever?

Gotta admit, I used to think patching tires was some kind of dark magic that only bike shop wizards could pull off. Seeing that it only took you 12 minutes with basic tools kinda changed my mind on it.

Huh, so bike shops charging $20 for a patch were basically running a protection racket this whole time. Good to know the wizardry was just glue and elbow grease.
