Update: Art supply shop redesign is a nightmare for watercolor painters
My usual place for paints and paper completely redid their layout. The watercolor section is now tiny and all the paper is warped from bad storage. Do other painters see this kind of problem in their local stores?
Is it just me or are these redesigns always about what looks trendy instead of what artists actually need? They seem to make everything generic, which is terrible for supplies that need specific care. No wonder your paper is warped now.
Actually, generic doesn't always mean worse. If @nguyen.angela thinks trends are bad, maybe they haven't seen how new sizing helps more artists. Warping can happen with any paper, but better sizing tries to fix that for everyone. It's not about looks, it's about making supplies easier to use without special care. Sometimes a simple change stops a lot of frustration.
