Hit 40 hours of night sky footage and noticed a pattern
I've been running a cheap night vision cam on my back porch in Tuscon for about 3 months now. At 40 hours of footage, I noticed most 'UFOs' are just planes, but I caught one object doing a 90 degree turn over the Catalina Mountains that no flight radar matched. It lasted 8 seconds on screen, and the turn was so sharp it would've killed a pilot. Anyone else log this much time and find one real anomaly out of hundreds?
Check your focal length and sensor size first, because a fast moving bird or bug close to the lens can fake a sharp turn like that. Then run the timestamp against flightaware's historical data twice, one minute before and after the clip, since planes can drop off radar in that gap.
