My brother told me to stop looking at the sky, then I saw something over Lake Michigan
My older brother always said I was wasting my time. He told me, 'Claire, you're never going to see anything up there but planes and stars, so just stop looking.' I almost listened. Then, about two months ago, I was walking my dog along the shore in Chicago after midnight. I saw three bright lights in a perfect triangle, moving silently and way too fast. They were over the water, not blinking, and then they just shot straight up and vanished. No sound at all. It wasn't a plane or a drone. That one sighting, which lasted maybe ten seconds, made me question everything my brother said. It felt too strange and precise to be anything we made. Has anyone else seen something like that over one of the Great Lakes?
