Honestly, I had to choose between calling the news or just telling my brother about the light I saw

Tbh, it was this orange orb hovering over the cornfield behind my house in Lincoln, Nebraska, for about ten minutes last Tuesday. I picked telling my brother because I figured the local news would just laugh. He drove over and saw it too before it shot straight up and vanished. Has anyone else seen something like that around here and kept it quiet?

Kinda wish you had called the news, honestly. More reports like yours and @hugos46's might make people take it seriously. Keeping quiet just means they can keep saying we're all making it up.
