I thought my neighbor's drone was an alien probe for a whole year

Every Tuesday night, this bright green light would hover over the field behind my house in Boise. I took notes, told my buddy it was a scout. Then last month, I saw old Mr. Henderson flying his new DJI Mini 3 from his porch. He waved. I felt like a total fool. Anyone else mistake something totally normal for something out of this world?
