I used to think UFOs were just swamp gas until I saw one over Lake Michigan last summer.
It was a silent triangle of lights that moved way too fast, and now I'm convinced there's something out there. Has anyone else seen something weird near the Great Lakes?

My cousin saw the same thing near Traverse City in 2021. Write down everything you remember, date, time, direction it was moving. The National UFO Reporting Center website is the best place to file a report, they track patterns.

My uncle swears he saw a glowing green orb over Muskegon in '98, but he also claims his neighbor's dog is a government spy. Still, a silent triangle sounds way more legit than his stories.

Yeah, the neighbor's dog being a spy detail is a tough one to get past. It makes people not want to believe the other stuff, even if it was real. I get why your uncle would feel frustrated. Seeing something that strange and having no one take you seriously is a lonely feeling. It's good your cousin had someone to tell who actually listened.

My great uncle claimed he saw a flying saucer over Lake Erie back in '73, but he also insisted the best way to fight off a cold was drinking pickle juice and standing on your head, so I took his story with a grain of salt. That triangle thing sounds like the same deal folks near Sleeping Bear Dunes have been talking about for years, way too fast and totally silent. I'm pretty sure the only weird thing I've ever spotted over Lake Michigan was a really drunk seagull that kept trying to dive-bomb a pontoon boat. It's funny how the more out-there the story gets, the more I am willing to believe it's real. Maybe I should start writing down my own "sightings" just to see if anyone finally takes me seriously.
