Just realized everyone keeps calling those weird lights 'drones' without checking
I live out near Sedona, Arizona, and for years I've seen these orange orbs moving silently over the desert at night. Every single time someone posts about it online, the top comment is always 'just drones, bro.' But last month, I watched three of them for a full 20 minutes from my back porch. They moved in a tight triangle, stopped dead in the air, and then shot off in different directions faster than anything I've ever seen. No drone I know can do that, and I've flown plenty. It matters because if we write off every sighting without thinking, we'll never actually look into the real weird ones. How many other people have seen something that just doesn't fit the drone explanation at all?

That's the exact problem with jumping to the drone answer every time. What helped me was keeping a small notebook by the window to log times, directions, and what the movement looked like. When you have a few months of notes showing patterns, it gets harder for people to just shrug it off.

My cousin in Nevada started logging like that last year. He filled a whole composition book with dates and flight paths. When he showed me the pages, it was wild, like seeing a grid form over his town. I mean, you can't argue with that much handwriting. It stops being a weird story and starts being a record.

Ever show your log to someone who just wouldn't get it? What did they say?
